You may be if you have breasts that are too large for your frame; heavy, pendulous breasts; back, neck or shoulder pain from their weight; skin irritation beneath them; grooves in your shoulders from bra straps; or restricted activity because of their size.
Breast reduction can be performed at any age, but is usually recommended once breast development has stopped. If you plan to breastfeed in the future, discuss it with Dr. Carlin, as pregnancy and breastfeeding can change the result.
