Why do women choose breast augmentation?

Common reasons include breasts perceived as under-developed, a size difference between the two breasts, changes after pregnancy or breastfeeding, or simply wanting fuller volume and a more proportional shape.

How is the implant size chosen?

Together, at your consultation. Dr. Carlin discusses your goals and your body proportions and recommends the size and type of implant that will look natural for you — and, when a lift is the better answer, he'll say so.

Where is the surgery performed?

In our own private surgery center at the practice in West Columbia — not a hospital. The same team you meet at your consultation cares for you on the day of surgery and through recovery.

Do you accept insurance?

No. Carlin Plastic Surgery does not accept insurance. We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and CareCredit financing.

What are your office hours?

Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The office is closed on Friday. After hours, surgical patients can reach Dr. Carlin through our answering service. Directions and contact details.

What happens at a first visit?

Every consultation is with Dr. Carlin himself. What to expect as a new patient, and what our patients say about the experience.
